The Sweetwater County Treasurer's office is located on the second level of the courthouse in Green River, Wyoming.

The Sweetwater County Treasurer's office receives all monies belonging to the County.  Major duties are tax collector, county accountant and Head of the Treasury.  The office consists of two major departments.  Property tax department (also known as Ad Valorem tax)  for the collection and distribution of tax dollars. The motor vehicle department issues license plates and collects sales tax on motor vehicles.
